Lions Multiple District 404 is part of Lions Clubs International (LCI), the world’s largest service organization founded in 1917, with over 1.4 million members worldwide. We are committed to addressing humanitarian needs, promoting peace, supporting health initiatives, empowering youth, and fostering community development across our districts.
Through selfless service and strong leadership, we continue to uphold the Lions motto: “We Serve.”

Join a ClubAn estimated 537 million adults across the world are living with diabetes, and its prevalence is increasing rapidly. By 2045, the number is expected to reach 783 million. Diabetes is a global epidemic that touches every corner of the globe.
More than 2 billion adults and children worldwide have a near or distance vision impairment.* Vision plays a vital role in every stage and moment of our lives. Without healthy vision people struggle to learn, walk, read and participate in school or work. Ever since Helen Keller inspired Lions to champion the cause in 1925, Lions have served and advocated for the blind and visually impaired. A century later, this long-standing mission continues unhindered.
Hunger affects one in 10 globally* and has devastating impacts. In response to the strain this global hunger and nutrition crisis has on our local communities, Lions around the world serve to improve health and well-being and empower their communities to thrive.
The earth sustains human life. Our environment is more than a background: it’s our home. And we’re committed to caring for it. 12M Hectares of forest destroyed each year. 6-7M Number of premature deaths annually caused by air pollution. 1/3 Amount of generated waste that is not safely managed. 17M Metric tons of plastic entered the ocean in 2021. Projected to double or triple by 2040.

When natural disasters strike, Lions are among the first to offer help. With a disaster grant, they can do even more for communities devastated by hurricanes, floods, fires and other major events

400,000 children diagnosed annually 9 in 10 diagnosed children live in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) <30% of children with cancer in LMICs survive, compared to ≥80% in high-income countries

The humanitarian efforts of Lions have been notable and celebrated for more than 100 years. Working together, Lions identify the world’s most crucial needs and LCIF supports them in their efforts to provide humanitarian aid where it’s needed most.

LCIF improves access to quality education, vital health services, and positive youth development for young people around the world. Lions Quest, LCIF’s signature youth education program, is a social emotional learning curriculum which gives students the skills to navigate life and prevent bullying and substance abuse.
“Leadership, Experience, Opportunity.” That’s what makes a Leo. Leos are devoted young people who realize the power of action. Together, Leos and Lions form a powerful partnership; one of mutual respect where Lions learn from the innovative insights of Leos, and where Leos gain access to the proven strategies of those who’ve successfully served the world for decades.
